A scientist and weather expert with the National Oceanographic and Atmospheric Agency, Kate Hargrave has flown into the eye of several lethal storms with NOAA’s famed Hurricane Hunters. But nothing prepares her for the turbulence hot shot Air Force pilot Dave Scott creates when he arrives as a replacement for one of the Pegasus test team’s original members. Kate’s had her heart dented once by a too-handsome, too slick operator, though, and isn’t about to risk it again.

Before he arrived on site, Dave got an earful about the sexy, flame-haired hurricane hunter from her bitter ex. As he and Kate work together to program Pegasus’s first flight, however, the sparks they strike off each other aren’t the only ones that light up the sky - and Kate must race to deflect the deadly effects of a solar flare on both the multi-million aircraft and the stubborn pilot at its controls.
