General Election UK 2024 (MEGA‪)‬

Great Britain is transfixed by the latest disaster in national political life - the fourth General Election in a decade! This time the stakes are the highest ever, with parties polarised and extremists on very side. No more so that right-winger Jerry Garage (pronounced 'Gah-Raj') who is leading the attack on not only the existing government, but the possible one to come, as well.

The Security Services are panicked, and activate all active and retired personnel (such as Mickey) to try and avoid the complete breakdown of Law and Order. Every meeting, every rally, every appearence on television of the candidates provokes and outcry. There are marches in the streets, banners waving, slogans chanting. Where has the quiet, peaceful country gone? It is being smothered in layers of hype, false stories and Fake News.

Captain Gibson, boss of Regional Office in the North West of England, is forced to throw all his resources at the problem, both on land and at sea. For once, he has the talents of his trust protege Mickey and his girlfriend Melia working at the same time. Unfortunately, there are at opposite ends of the realm, and both feel the strain of working alone for once. They long to get back together. But that may only happen when the emergency is over - and no one seems sure when that may be.
