Geology

This book lays out the the basic ideas of Geology, including formation of the Earth, rock types and the rock cycle, fossilization, weathering and erosion, plate tectonics, and how scientists have determined the age of the Earth,  hydrogeology and the water cycle.   This book is designed to align with the Maine Learning Results, AAAS’s Benchmarks for science Literacy and provide the foundational knowledge required to meet the NGSS.
