Description de l’éditeur
George "Big Frenchy" DeMange is a somewhat murky figure in criminal history. A mobster with a long criminal record he avoided jail for his entire career. Not even his business partner, the more well-known Owen "Owney Madden", was able to elude imprisonment. Madden went to prison at Sing Sing in 1923. Like Madden Big Frenchy was involved in multiple criminal rackets. The two Prohibition era hoodlums enjoyed a business partnership that spanned many years. They presided over the Cotton Club in Harlem in its heyday.
