I summoned one ghost by accident.

Back at Hallowhaven Academy, and things are… weirder than usual. The ghost I accidentally pulled from the veil? Still here. Still frustratingly gorgeous. Still claiming we were in love in some past life.

And just when I thought I was starting to make peace with the whole undead soulmate situation—another ghost shows up.
This one knows things he shouldn't. About me. About her—the version of me I don't remember being.

Now I've got two spirits hovering way too close, both convinced I belong to them.

And worse? A part of me is starting to believe it, too.

Meanwhile, the academy expects me to master spellwork like I didn't nearly flunk broom basics last semester. Spoiler: I'm still terrible at enchantments and still dreaming of going home.

But the magic's changing. My powers are changing.
