Description de l’éditeur
Action in the district court for Hennepin county for personal injuries resulting from a fall into an elevator shaft allegedly
caused by the combined negligence of defendants, Harris Machinery Company, lessee of the premises, Clarence Peterson, its
employee, and E. L. Kavli, owner of the premises. The case was tried before John A. Weeks, Judge, and a jury, which returned
a verdict of $15,000 against all defendants. Defendants Harris Machinery Company and Clarence Peterson and defendant E. L.
Kavli appealed separately from an order denying their separate alternative motions for judgment or a new trial. AUTHOR: GALLAGHER
