But the goblin chief Kralk sees Jig as a threat to her power.  So when an ogre comes seeking Jig Dragonslayer's help against an unknown enemy, Kralk seizes the chance to get rid of Jig for good.

With a large, exceptionally dim-witted goblin warrior and an ancient, crotchety goblin nursery worker as his unwanted sidekicks–and pursued by a would-be wizard who's certain that she's meant to be the true goblin hero–Jig sets out for ogre territory.

As Jig ventures deeper into the mountain than ever before, one question looms over everything. Is he more likely to be killed by the mysterious creatures whose power terrifies even the ogres? Or by his so-called friends?
