Nicole Holston is a sanctimonious and wealthy entrepreneur who lives a life devoid of romance—that is, until the moment she stumbles upon the allure of the enigmatic lesbian prostitute named Zoey Bonet, an employee of the Gold Star lesbian matchmaking service.
