After playing over 170 links golf courses, David Oliver has written Golfing by the Sea, which provides substantial reviews of those courses that represent, in his opinion, the best 100 links golf courses in Great Britain and Ireland (“GB&I”).


Included within the list are iconic courses such as the Old Course at St Andrews, North Berwick Golf Club and Prestwick Golf Club, together with classic courses comprising Ballybunion Golf Club, Brora Golf Club, Carne Golf Links, Cruden Bay Golf Club, Portmarnock Golf Club, Royal Dornoch, Rye Golf Club, and Waterville Golf Links.
