Bill Jiles is a PhD student in Astrophysics. When the research he is doing becomes boring and is not headed in the direction he needs to graduate, he seruptiously uses his grant money to research the new area of dark matter.

What he accidentally discovers has the potential to impact the entire planet Earth and the Moon. In getting his information out to those in the government of the United States of North America, he becomes involved in a top, top, top secret project that has been in the works since the late 1970's
