When the angel assassin Malach requests Nick's skills in locating the mysteriously missing Archangel Michael, Nick is quickly propelled into a sinister conspiracy to bring about Armageddon. In the course of his investigation, Nick must align himself with a ragtag group of rebel angels, a Satanic cult, the new witch Antonia, and his old nemesis, Therion, the Beast of Revelations.

Oh yeah, and then there are the drug-addled angel-human hybrids. And if that isn't bad enough, Nick has to deal with the drama of his human (and not-so-human) family...
