Havana & Varadero Travel Guide

Havana is the capital of Cuba and is one of the Caribbean’s largest and most exciting cities. The city is divided into the districts of Old Havana, Havana Central, Vedado and Miramar. Havana is a Caribbean centre for trade and commerce with Cuban cigars being its most famous export. More than a million tourists come to Havana annually.  Varadero is a major tourist resort city in Cuba made famous by its beautiful stretch of white sand beach. It is a part of Matanzas province and is located on the northern shores of this Caribbean island. Varadero is a long narrow peninsula stretching into the Gulf of Mexico in the shape of a hockey stick.
