Big Island, Amazing Sights uses compelling photography and cloud-hosted interactive maps to take the reader on a virtual tour of the Big Island of Hawaii.  The book makes extensive use of full-screen, 360 degree panoramas to take you right down to the sand at Hapuna Beach, to the black sand beach at Pololu Valley, and even into the Kilauea volcano Halemaumau caldera. 


You'll land at Kona International Airport and head north up to the idyllic Kohala Coast, check out the beaches and golf courses, and then continue across the north side of the Big Island to the rainforest at Akaka Falls state park, then on into Hilo, you'll check out some waterfalls on your way to Volcanoes National Park and then back to Kona.   You'll see stunning photography from every part of the island. 


The book's interactive maps contain author-selected links to a variety of restaurants, state parks, golf courses and other big island attractions.  Hotel information is also available in the form of slideshows and reviews.
