After escaping across deserts and mountains Druhi and Mahin have finally found safety, a place to start a family. Druhi, a former slave, finds hope.

But someone watches through the trees. Someone waits. 

On the other side of the river, Sita and her mentor Kali prepare to take wing against demons in a far eastern city. It is their first visit to this realm.
