Hidden among Shadows

Shailey has lived most of her life on the run. Because of her abilities controlling the shadowy Skia that plague the world; she is shunned and hunted by society.
Rather than letting her daughter face execution; Shailey's mother has her sent to Umbra Forest – a lawless land filled with criminals and other social outcasts.
Here, Shailey is no longer hunted or persecuted for her strange power, but she is far from safe. With no rules or jailers; in Umbra Forest only the strongest may survive.
Her first encounter is with an axe-wielding beast-like man who acts more like an animal than a person. Like a lone wolf trapped and caged, he desperately wants to escape the forest, and will do anything to achieve it – even if that means teaming up with Shailey and her strange abilities.
Together, they search for a way out of the maze-like forest, discovering a variety of unique areas whose purposes have been lost to time. Yet they must learn the truth about Umbra Forest – and the secrets hidden in the past – if they want to escape.
Only then can they solve the puzzles and regain their freedom.
