Agent Camphor Buckley, family man, Zombie Horde Prevention Task Force Agent, target. Agent Buckley is ambushed and shot during a routine zombie hunt. Buckley's son Jonah disappears from where he's visiting his grandmother in the Gray Hills. Buckley's wife, Dappled Waters, is kidnapped the night of the ambush as well. To make matters worse, Buckley's long-kept secrets are revealed.
