I Am

Nervous about starting a new school, Triston, a young dinosaur discovers his ability to achieve anything he puts his mind to. He taps into the power of the “I am” statement and explores affirmations and positive thinking throughout the story. This story helps teaches students hard work, compassion, and appreciation. Students will learn the term affirmations, and appropriately identify the authors message in a grade-level-appropriate text.



About the Author



Travis Perry is an author and the founder of his company Big Dream Books. His books are written to encourage and motivate children to be excited about reading and believe in their ability to accomplish anything in life their heart desires. Travis is a husband and father of two boys Triston & Tahj. His dedication and passion for helping children learn landed him in his current position as a Special Education Teacher at a local elementary school. Travis resides in Port Wentworth, Ga with his family.
