Author Kimberly S. Hoffman utilizes rhyme and animals to bring gentle, teachable moments to children. Through her prose, she introduces deeper themes of diversity, inclusion, and self-esteem or self-worth. Illustrator Calder Robinson, who also illustrated Ms. Hoffman's book, The Red Coat, brings out the emotions felt by Llama and Ewe visually to add depth and color to the story.
