If You Give the House a Cookie

A Christmas fairy tale set on Capitol Hill about a cynical politician who wants to become Speaker of the House but lacks the required votes. After eating a magical cookie and having a fantastical adventure with visions of the founding fathers the cynical politician finds the true meaning of America and becomes a Constitutional Patriot. The Congressman ekes out a bipartisan victory to become Squeaker of the House and goes on to pass popular bills for the benefit of all the American People.

Written in verse like The Night Before Christmas, having a plot like Dicken's A Christmas Carol, and a featuring a cover illustration parodying If You Give a Mouse a Cookie, the humorous political tale conjures a possible future with political goodwill for all.
