Description de l’éditeur

In 1961, President D. D. Eisenhower gave his last public address, in which he warned about the dangers facing the country (largely due to the rapidly expanding size and influence of the government). The speech is largely known for the expression “military-industrial complex”, but its scope is much wider. In this essay we give a quick summary of the developments in the 53 years since Ike’s speech.
