Illusory Realities

What happens when reality begins to crack silently?

A man discovers that the plants in his greenhouse don't just grow; they observe, they act, they wait. A lawyer, trapped in an increasingly murky legal case, begins to suspect that his actions have repercussions in another plane, where nothing is accidental. In a world ravaged by ice, a father agrees to participate in a system that promises salvation, without knowing what part of himself will be absorbed in the process.

The fantastic emerges in the everyday, and reality becomes a fragile surface, beginning to be invaded by another reality, in a familiar world, a dreamlike one, or a dystopian future.

The characters don't cross portals; they are pierced by them. They will ultimately reach what they hoped for or encounter what they feared, approaching an invisible border where dreams, memory, and desire shape what they call reality. In these stories, the fantastic doesn't burst in; it infiltrates. Stories where the real and the illusory are not opposed; they need each other.

It is possible that something beyond what we see awaits our discovery. How events unfold may conceal a purpose we are unaware of.
