Impressions of Ukiyo-Ye

Ukiyo-ye or ukiyo-e is a genre of Japanese painting that portrays scenes landscapes, theatre, interiors and accounts of history. It is the most significant genre of printmaking in Japan. This book features the many woodblock prints and paintings done in this style, from the 17th to the 20th century.
