In the midst of the worst winter storm to ravage the central plains of Kansas in decades, Richard Farris, a man with a dark past, finds a wounded stranger in the woods behind his home. A brutal assault follows, plunging him into the heart of an age old battle between good and evil that threatens to tear apart the very fabric of the Universe.
