Katherine Grainger Speaks Her Mind

Katherine Grainger is in a funk.  Widowed in her mid-fifties and bored after the closing of her beloved local theatre, she's looking for…something.  She does what any normal person with no experience and too much time on her hands would do.  She gets her name on the ballot for state senate.

Motivated by her frustration with local elected officials and led by her ragtag team, Katherine's campaign fails to garner any attention.  She's left with two choices:  quit or continue in a race she can't win.  The decision she makes is one that other candidates envy.  She stops listening to expert advice and acting like a candidate.  Instead, she begins to speak her mind.

What follows is a rollicking journey through the unpredictable political landscape.  Katherine becomes the candidate everyone loves.  But will anyone actually vote for her?
