Description de l’éditeur
Carolyn Taylor brought suit against her employer, the Secretary of the Smithsonian Institution, alleging the Smithsonian discriminated against her upon the bases of her race, in violation of Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, as amended, 42 U.S.C. §§ 1981a and 2000e-16, and of her "excessive weight," in violation of § 504 of the Vocational Rehabilitation Act of 1973, as amended, 29 U.S.C. § 794. On cross motions for summary judgment, the district court dismissed Taylors claim under the Rehabilitation Act and granted summary judgment in favor of the defendant on the Title VII claims. Taylor appeals the judgment of the district court and challenges certain of its procedural orders.
