Last April Fair

Phyllida, doubting her fiancé's love, broke off her engagement. She quit her job at the hospital and began working as an older woman's nurse on a cruise, but when the woman's condition took a turn for the worse, Phyllida was left behind in the confusion. The one who held out a hand to help her was Pieter, a doctor on the same ship. Phyllida was able to get back home because of his kindness and was invited to his manor in the Netherlands.
