Description de l’éditeur

What if we had a new set of principles for making decisions about how to build inclusive, peaceful human settlements, manage and share natural resources fairly - and avoid escalation of climate extremes?

The planetary Light Garden model in this book brings new hope that such a set of principles not only exists in the world of Nature but that humanity can tap into and utilise this knowledge. The Light Garden model describes the scientific, economic and cultural basis for a new decision making process based on this knowledge. This process for making decisions will support and rejuvenate the living systems and climate of our planet. It is not based on abstract concepts such as economic growth but it is supportive of sustainable civilisations that exist today and which have existed in earlier times.

Since the early 20th century and the work of Albert Einstein, Max Plank and their contemporaries, quantum physics has come to be the accepted springboard upon which further scientific study in the realms of physics is based. It has been a similar story with quantum biophysics. However, fields such as biology, ecology, engineering, landscape design, landscape management, human settlement and medicine have lagged some one hundred years behind the work of the scientists in applying the principles of quantum biophysics and plasma science to managing human settlements and

sharing natural resources.

In the 21st century, humanity has the opportunity to apply the principles of quantum biophysics to more comprehensively understand and work with how all living organisms on Earth regulate their growth, repair, reproduction and collaborative existence. The fi eld of quantum biophysics extends beyond

earlier schools of thought, such as traditional chemistry and ecology. Similarly, the principles of quantum biophysics also provide a better explanation of the behaviour of the light, energy fields, waves and electromagnetism that living organisms co-exist with on planet Earth.

Utilising this knowledge, we can create better societies and help ecosystems to rejuvenate. The Light Garden decision making model provides a way for humanity to make changes that are needed now. As illustrated with examples from cultures on every continent, these changes are feasible. They can be made at a scale and pace that gives us an opportunity to regenerate the vigour of the living ecosystems of planet Earth- and with that, the lives of the

millions of young people who call it home.
