Living Dead While Being Alive

A story based on the true events in the life of a little girl born into a world of abuse, trauma, and chaos. A world where she finds herself not only fighting for her life from the hands of her abusers, who in all reality are the very people who were supposed to love, care for, and protect her. But the biggest battle of her life she must fight in her own mind. The little girl becomes a woman struggling to escape and overcome her world, where it is so easy to become a victim of your negative circumstances. Does she have the strength to escape the chains of the room where she grew up, where the sun never pierced through the black plastic garbage bags duct taped to her windows? Will pure hate consume her? Will the pain develop something within her that could only have been developed through pain? Can a rose really grow from the concrete streets of Brooklyn?
