Love and Other Destinations

Cosmetic Surgeon Mike Richards gives up his successful practice to set up an eye surgery unit in a mission hospital in Pemba, a small coastal town in northern Mozambique.

There he meets the documentary film-maker Niamh Gallagher, who is on a mercy mission from war-torn Iraq. She has covered the world’s conflict hot-spots, from Kosovo to the Middle East.

Soon their friendship blossoms into something much deeper, but they both have pasts with which they must come to terms…

This is a love story about two people who have previously experienced strong love and deep loss and now find themselves falling in love.
