Lydia -- Between Two Worlds

Lydia Graham was running away from her father deep in the forest of Sonoma, California. She scurried across broken twigs, all the while trying to find a good place to hide. Turning her head she tripped over something hard and fell down an embankment. After getting out of the hospital she met a Ranch owner in Nevada who took her in and hid her. An investigator found her, so she had to run again. She stopped at an antique store and bought an old jar of pickles. The store owner told her someone in London in the 1800's had pickled them and was considered a witch. She ate one while racing away from her step-father's investigator and ended up in London in the 1800's. She is confused and no one believes her when she told them she lives in the year 2009. This is a time-traveling book like no other ever written. Lydia time traveled from present time in California and Nevada to 1800 London. The story unrolls with humor, suspense; bringing it to a page turner.
