There are some things that go your way in life, and there are others that don't. My life has been filled with things that haven't gone my way. I imagined that my life would improve once I left home. Little did I know there was something far more detrimental to my wellbeing than Father. Them.

Officer Jay Taylor. That's me. Nothing all that notable about me, I tend to fly under the radar. Doing my best to not bring attention to my brother and me. There is vengeance to be had, vengeance that we are owed. We have spent the majority of our lives preparing for this moment. None of us were ready for this slip of a woman crashes into our lives. I offer a young woman a ride home during an epic downpour, not knowing that she would change all of our lives forever. A shining beacon of hope in this sea of uncertainty.

Some would say that having the answer to your prayers fall into your lap is a trap. I don't though. I think it's some sort of cosmic intervention. Maye is the one person that we would be able get on our side to make all of our hard work pay off. But once I lay eyes on her, I begin to doubt my ability to focus on the mission I have spent my life preparing for.
