Description de l’éditeur

William Wordsworth (1770 – 1850) was an English Romantic poet. William Wordsworth found a new form of romantic trend in Great Britain. He imagined the condition of soul through the nature. Contemporaries of William Wordsworth told that his soul turned from the outside world and focused on own internal life. He learned the value of thoughts and feelings appeared by very minor events of his life.

Samuel Taylor Coleridge (1772-1834) was an English Poet and philosopher, a bright representative of the so-called ‘Lake Poets’. During his college years he was absorbed by revolutionary ideas and eventually got expelled for that. Not so many years passed and he became a representative of romanticism, fascinated ancient and medieval times. The quintessence of his literary career was the membership in the ‘Lake Poets’ society, a club where poets combined worship of the nature with their own distinctive philosophy.

Lyrical Ballads with a few Other Poems is a collection of various works of these two pillars of British poetry that is believed to be the beginning of English romantism.
