Private eye, Tom Sharp, and his faithful AI assistant, Frank, are hired to investigate the death of a university professor strangled by an uroboros, a mythological snake that eats its own tail. Although the death is ruled an accident, the professor's grieving widow believes it was murder. It's Los Angeles, 2055, where life is cheap, the tech is glitchy, and magic is real.
