Magitech High is a young-adult romantic adventure set in modern day America with a twist of fantasy.
Twenty years after the signing of the second Yellowstone Treaty in the wake of a brutal battle, and the grand reveal to humans of the existence of magical creatures, an uneasy truce stands in place between the US Federal Government and the North American Fairy Kingdom, two political superpowers on the brink of war. Political tensions and racial hatred are high on both sides as a bookish teenage girl with a knack for engineering, Emma Bridges, begins classes as the first human 'integration student' to attend Magitech High, a boarding school specifically for magical creatures. There she soon learns how to navigate the plethora of new species and new realities she must face as part of her role as pioneer. She also meets Rockheart, a rugged woodland fairy with a murky past who calls her his 'favorite enemy,' yet seems to go out of his way to protect her. As children in the area go missing, and Rockheart stands accused by a shadowy government agent of being involved, Emma is forced to chose the route she will take as she desperately tries to define her relationship with her 'favorite enemy' while avoiding any actions that could lead directly to a full-scale war between superpowers.
