Maia Chronicles: The Waking

The last year Maia remembers is 2009. In the year 2044, she is a little behind on current events. The group of genetically engineered soldiers living in an abandoned school in New Mexico have reservations about letting her into their unusual home. Yet when they discover that Maia has no where to go and she is missing major chunks of her memory, they grudgingly find room for her. Becomming the assorted group's cook, on campus gardener, and all around councilor; Mia works to help the shunned group integrate into help the shunned group integrate into the community around them. However, there is a disturbingly mysterious company lurking in the shadows. Unsure of who the Extermination Company is, Maia must figure out how to feed her new family, encourage harmony, and keep them safe at the same time.
