Matthew 28:19

Much confusion can be heard when the discussion of baptism is had, especially when we begin to compare Jesus’ words in Matthew 28:19 with what other New Testament teachers and writers shared. We often hear such things as, “I would rather obey Jesus than Peter”, or “it really does not matter what is said”. Some, in order to escape any contention over the subject, simply disregard the subject, and the necessity, of baptism completely.

The goal of this book, and my personal prayer, is that the God of glory, who is never the author of confusion, would assist the reader to a better understanding of not only what Jesus spoke, but how his disciples and the Early Church lived in obedience and harmony with the Great Commission given by our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
