This is the first book of a trilogy about a woman named Jeannette who tired of being hurt, manipulated, and mentally, physically, and emotionally abused. She is very unhappy with how her life has turned out. This was not what she had planned. Something went terribly wrong for her to be so broken. So, to figure out where she took a wrong turn in life she decided to re-live her life through memories for the answer. Her first memory was when she was seven years old. That is where Jeannette's story begins. The three books will take you from the beginning of her life all the way to the end. Donna can tell this story with authority because she was present for a lot of Jeannette's experiences.
