About the Author



Mike Hallinan wrote this book to equip our military members with a clear and concise guidebook to slay bad debt, auto-invest early, and achieve homeownership. Mike is a former executive, serial entrepreneur, and military officer. He cofounded Deserve, a consumer financial platform with prominent investors, including Goldman Sachs, Accel, and Sallie Mae. Mike is also a decorated combat veteran of the Iraq War, where he served with the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit and 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit (Special Operations Capable).
