Boris has fled a devastated Earth to forge a new life.He has friends and a place in the first Moon Colony. Then all is threatended by the senseless killing of a brilliant young woman. A part-time cop, he is on the spot. Every fem feels it, and his friends band together to help. The Director demands he bury the whole thing with the girl. But he cannot do it. The girl was murdered. That puts him at odds with his bosses, who want no roadblocks and no kickback.The killer is unrepentant. He threatens more lives and Boris must continue his hunt. He has little time, and no cooperation. A small community on the edge of survival cannot contain such chaos. Despite the odds, he must succeed.
