Moving Mountains By Faith

Don Norgaard and Ada Larson quickly set their wedding date for December 24, 1941, after Japan attacked Pearl Harbor on December 7 that year. Their military and other life stories blend with daughter Carolyn's life story memoirs.

The children grew up knowing their dad had served in WWII, but their parents didn't reveal much about their military experiences. After the war, the couple settled on a farm near Tyler, MN-Don's hometown. Their faith in God sustained them when facing life's challenges as a farm family raising their children. Remembering military experiences supported by their faith of a mustard seed, as found in God's Word, reinforces their story.

Don's experiences and emotions will bring back to life the incidents of a military solder's memories. Readers of any vocation or age will appreciate farmer Don's experiences in the military and farm life challenges with his wife Ada after discharged from the military. 

The couple's story intertwins with their daughter's memoirs and is written from her perspective.

Don and Ada lived by Jesus's words. "I tell you the truth, if you have faith and do not doubt, not only can you do what was done to the fig tree, but also you can say to this mountain, 'Go, throw yourself into the sea,' and it will be done. If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer." (Matthew 21: 21 & 22.)
