The story just gets better with each novel
Murder finds Maggie once more. She feels her son is putting himself in harm’s way. She is once more battling the French police, who don’t want to look into the murder, so she follows whatever leads she can uncover, finally getting into a dangerous position herself. Meanwhile, Laurent is busy with his expanding vineyard, working with a defrocked monk to help the desolate and getting personally involved with an orphaned teenager. Life evolves in amazing ways for the Dernier family.
