My First Hindi Book

"My First Hindi Book" introduces your child to colors, counting, and animals in English and Hindi. The Hindi words are written in English letters to make it easy for children and caregivers to read! The book introduces at least two key language words on each page and focuses on teaching the language as a whole.

Author Chandni Bhatia wrote her first picture book entitled My First Hindi Book to introduce Hindi words to her daughter as well as other young children in Hindi-English bilingual households. She believes short and frequent reinforcement and repetition of the language offers Indian children living abroad the ability to really learn the language thus offering them a genuine connection to their culture.
