Building a house and living in Ubud, Bali presented Michael with several challenges that ended up being either comedy or tragedy - alas, the ‘Life in Bali’ series. This story demonstrates his persistence trying to get cash out of an ATM machine. The armored car guard toting a machine gun was more interested in Michael’s bicycle than protecting the mechanic working on the machine.
