Just right in the feels!!
Melissa Foster definitely made me want to escape to Silver Island, reading about tight-knit families, a wounded and tortured hero and the woman who stole his heart, showing hope and silver linings in every way. Supportive and caring, through the good and the bad times.
Grant has been in a bad place since his accident. A man who was fighting for his country and ended suddenly not able to do his job, when adjusting to his new life was a constant battle. He is broken and angry, pushing people away.
But it seems that only one person could see through this, with her good will, good vibes, communicative cheerfulness and understanding.
As a cancer survivor, Jules doesn’t take anything for granted. She managed to push Grant out of his comfort zone, to make his life better and also to reunite his family as well.
She was truly inspiring.
These two made my heart swoon and melt so many times I lost count. I was rooting for these two so hard. Emotional, raw, genuine. My heart just melted. I appreciated how their relationship evolved, a strong friendship turning into true love.
Their story was so beautifully told, gut-wrenching and inspiring. I loved their smoking hot chemistry and sweet tension. Once again, the author managed to draw me in with in-depth characters, beautiful scenery scenes and making the magic operating.
I’ve been moved by their journey, filled with so much love, passion and all the things in between. Just right in the feels!!
