Thela Brown has spent fifteen years in hiding what she is after her parents left her in the woods to die. If anyone found out she is a Neuroner, they would turn her in for the prize: money, fame, and much more. Thela's whole life has been spent in fear of people telling her Neuroners are a threat to society and should be killed or used as lab rats. No one knows what Thela is, not even the ones closest to her. . .  or so she thought. Her life in the shadows of fear all comes crashing down when she receives a note of someone claiming they know she is a Neueroner. 

Will Thela be discovered? Will her life in the shadows be over forever? Or will she end up with an owner and become a lab rat like many Neuroners before her?
