Off Plumb

Off Plumb is a fictional novel about Plum Island. This tiny island is a government owned facility where biological research has been conducted for years. In this story a scientist has been killed and his research project stolen. Several governmental agencies become involved and the victim's fellow scientist, who works to solve the case, becomes the lead character. A female FBI agent joins him and beyond working on the case a romance buds. Other characters add a touch of humor, and in general the story becomes a 'who done it?' The search for the project's stolen materials becomes a trail of extensive travel with a surprise ending.


Author Bio: Dr. Morreale was born and raised on the lower east side of Manhattan. He became an administrator in the field of Special Education. Since retiring, he has published The Legend Of Benny, a novel set during the Revolutionary War. Off Plumb is his second novel which is also set on the eastern end of Long Island where he lives with his wife Gail.
