Description de l’éditeur

INTRODUCTION My computer was dying. So, I purchased a new computer and began transferring data directories before the inevitable and fast-approaching end arrived. It had the newest operating system and, as I should have expected, some of nay older, specialized software that operated in a DOS environment could not be installed in my new computer. Now, this may seem like a trivial problem, but converting the data files stored in the formats of the specialized software into a format readable by software acceptable to my new computer was no easy task. Yes, I could have established a DOS environment on my new computer in which my old software would have operated. However, the future is clearly against this stopgap solution working for any lengthy period of time (i.e., forever). So, I spent the better part of 2 wk converting all my impacted data files into readable formats. This is to say, those files that I had the capability to convert.
