Oops, Pounce, Quick, Run‪!‬

A 2017 Geisel Honor Book

In the vein of Tom and Jerry, Bugs Bunny, and other classic cartoons, Oops, Pounce, Quick, Run! is a hilariously clever alphabet caper, perfect for fans of LMNO Peas and Z Is for Moose.

A little mouse is asleep until a ball suddenly bounces into his home, setting off an epic chase—from A to Z. As heavy canine feet hit the floor, a growling dog fixes his eye on the startled mouse and vows to give chase, sending him jumping for help through the kitchen.

Darting straight through the living room, the little runner goes missing and seems nowhere to be found. When an unexpected slip triggers a sudden pounce, only a quick run carries the breathless creature safely away.

This charming picture book is from celebrated New Yorker cartoonist Mike Twohy.
