Open and Raw

Open and Raw is a collection of poems that cover several topics that include mental illness, emotional struggles, heartache, pain and abuse. It is broken into two different sections called Emotionally Disturbed and Heartaches of the Past. The poetry mostly has a rhythm/beat to it, depending on how you read it. I love the tradition of rhyming in poetry, which is something I strive to do in most if not all my poetry. This book is no different with the rhyming and rhythm. I hope you all enjoy it as it is a deep and vulnerable collection. I hope everyone can get something out of this collection. If it helps someone out there know they aren't alone in how they are feeling or alone in what they are going through then my goal has been met.
