A Christmas-themed dystopian short story tied to the Chasing Liberty trilogy. 

Recently rescued by a group of rebels deep underground, Bolcan, an Aldonian, goes through intense training so that he can become one of the rescuers. Dedrick, his trainer, grew up in the hidden colonies, unbeknownst to the all-controlling government. While he can be commended for his courage and skills--and he probably means well--he doesn't understand Aldonians. And Bolcan doesn't understand him or this strange mission he now finds himself on with Dedrick. What is Operation Gift Drop?
